Track macros,
not grams.
Tell the AI what’s in your fridge. Ask it what to eat. Tap confirm. That’s the whole app — no spreadsheets, no kitchen scale, no guilt loops.
- Free during beta
- No app store needed
- Knows what you've cooked
Why FridgeVibe
Other trackers make you do the work.
We didn’t build another database app. We built a coach that meets you where you already are — at the fridge door.
Type "two eggs and toast" — the AI looks up the macros, you confirm. No 20-result list of "egg, large, raw."
Tell the AI "180g chicken" for precision, or just say "a medium bowl" — it approximates and you adjust before confirming.
Logged a pot of chili this morning? The AI knows it's in the fridge and plans the rest of your day around what's already on your plate.
How it works
Three steps to a tracker that finally sticks.
- 01
Stock your virtual fridge.
Scan a barcode, or just type what you bought. The fridge becomes the AI's working memory.
- 02
Ask the AI.
"What should I eat for dinner to hit 40g protein with what I have?" Real conversations, not search forms.
- 03
Confirm and log.
The AI proposes a meal with full macros. One tap to confirm — it lands in your daily history.
Install
Install like a native app. No app store needed.
FridgeVibe is a Progressive Web App. It works in any modern browser, but feels best living right on your home screen — one tap to launch, faster cold start, and the shell loads even when you’re offline.
Install on iPhone or iPad
Works in Safari. (Other iOS browsers don’t support installing PWAs — Apple’s rule, not ours.)
- 1Open this site in Safari.
- 2Tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen.
- 3Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
- 4Done. Launch FridgeVibe from your home screen anytime.
Look for the up-arrow square at the bottom of Safari.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How much does FridgeVibe cost?
FridgeVibe is free to use during our beta — the AI chat, macro tracking, fridge inventory and meal logging are all fully available right now at no cost. We're still figuring out long-term pricing, so we'd rather not promise specifics today. If that changes, current users will get plenty of notice.
Where does the calorie and macro data come from?
We use the open-source Open Food Facts database for branded products and barcodes, combined with AI to estimate macros for home-cooked meals and dishes that aren't in any database. You'll always see the numbers before they get logged.
Do I have to weigh my food on a kitchen scale?
No, but you can if you want to. Weighing gives the most precise macro numbers — if you tell the AI "180 grams of chicken breast," it will use exactly that. If you'd rather just describe the portion ("a medium bowl," "two slices," "a handful") the AI approximates a sensible default and you can adjust before confirming. Pick whichever feels right for the meal — both are fine.
Does it remember what I've already cooked?
Yes. Every meal you log stays in today's history, and the AI sees it when it answers. So if you ask "what should I have for dinner?" at 6pm, it already knows you had a 600-calorie lunch and 30g of protein, and it plans around what's left of your daily targets. You can also log batch-cooked dishes (a pot of chili, meal-prepped rice) and reference them later — the AI factors them in just like fresh ingredients.
Why not just use a regular calorie tracker like MyFitnessPal?
You can — they work for plenty of people. We built FridgeVibe for the rest of us: people who got tired of searching a database every time they ate, who didn't want to weigh every crumb, and who quit when the streak broke. FridgeVibe flips the loop: you tell it what's in your fridge once, then ask it what to make. It plans around what you already own and what you've already eaten today, instead of making you re-enter both from scratch.
Does it work on Android, or only iPhone?
Both. FridgeVibe is a Progressive Web App — it works in any modern browser and installs to your home screen on iOS, Android, and desktop. There's no separate App Store or Play Store version to download.
Does it work without an internet connection?
The app shell loads offline once installed, and you can browse your existing fridge and history. The AI chat and barcode lookups need an internet connection because they call live services.
Is my food data private?
Yes. Your meals, fridge contents, and goals are tied to your account and not sold to anyone — no advertisers, no insurers. We use Supabase for storage with row-level security so only you can read your own data.
Do I need to create an account?
Yes — your fridge and history sync across devices, which means we need a login. Email signup takes about ten seconds and is free.
Ready to track without the spreadsheet?
Free during beta. Takes about ten seconds to set up.
